A full Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) course took place from 11 to 18 May in Golden Sands resort. The course was organized by the National Real Property Association (NRPA) under the auspices and in compliance with NAR procedures, and the event was hosted by ADIS Real Estate.
The honored lecturer was David Segrest, real estate broker and consultant in Charlotte, North Carolina, US. David Segrest holds a number of titles, such as CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member), CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), CEA (Certified Exchange Advisor) and TRC (Transnational Referral Certification).
Participants in this year’s CIPS course were about 40 executive directors, managers and specialists of real estate companies from all over the country, members of NRPA.
The training programme consisted of 5 modules with relevant presentations and tests on the macro and micro framework of the financial, legal, taxation and multicultural specifics of the real estate market in Europe, North, Central and South America, the Far East, and counties in the Pacific region.
The prestigious Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) title gives direct access to a network of international experts in the field of real estate and of practical knowledge on the specifics of individual local and regional markets.
What the participants found particularly useful was the direct comparisons between market practices and clients' attitudes. Participants were encouraged to seek offers, marketing and product niches in the local and international real estate market by financial and investment analyses, exercises, case studies, tests and presentations.
